Loughmacrory GAA Handball Club League Finals this Sunday

The Club will see the 2017 Club 40×20 League titles decided this coming Sunday evening in the 40×20 Court, starting at 5.30pm.

In total there were four divisions in the Club League and after 5 weeks of league matches, it is down to the finals on Sunday with all four grades set to be decided.

The Premier League saw Paul Donnelly top section A and Chris Curran finish top in Section B and both went on to win through in their semi final matches against Conor Duff and Stephen Conway respectively. That premier League Final will conclude the four match finals programme which will commence with the Dark Blue Division 2 Final.

That Dark Blue Division 2 Final line-up will be decided on Sunday morning as the league table was so close after all round robin matches that five players still remain in contention. Eoin Donaghy and Ronan Fox will meet in one semi final while Connor Fox will meet the winner of a three-way playoff involving Ruairi McCullagh, Tomas Duff and Ryan Agnew to decide the final line-up for Sunday evening.

The Dark Blue Division 2 Final will be second on the four match Finals Programme with the final line-up to be determined after the final playoff matches on Saturday with a host of players also still in contention for a final place.

The Division 2 Final line-up has been decided and will see club veteran, John McCullagh, take on Niall Toner in the final. John, who was a County Senior Champion back in 1987, overcame John Kelly in the semi final while Niall Toner went to a tie-brea before denying Eunan Donnely in his semi fina matc last weekend.
