A massive positive development for the club is the fact that over 60 young juvenile members attend coaching sessions throughout the season with 10 coaches in all now qualifying to take coaching at juvenile level in the club.

The new Club Season will be commencing in early October 2015 with full details of the coaching programme to be finalised at the next Handball Club Meeting on Monday 28th September, 8pm, in the GAA Clubrooms.

It has undoubtedly been a massive couple of seasons for the club as we rebuild again for the future and are delighted in particular now to see so many young junior players now enjoying the sport on a regular basis.

  • The launch of our new One Wall Handball Arena in July 2014 has been a massive success and has provided so much in terms of growing numbers back into the game in the community as well as providing such a high profile National One Wall Handball Tournament now for two years running.

  • The Club also organised and hosted in full a Tyrone GAA Handball One Wall League Tournament, providing handball for players across the county (and Down too) over a six week period in the build-up to the 2015 One Wall Nationals. Again this proved to be a major success with so many enjoying the games. Full winners and runners-up who will be presented on the night are listed below

  • The Club and community also had a visit from GAA Handball Ireland President, Willie Roche, in advance of the 2015 Feile na nGael National Tournament for Under 14 Club teams in boys and girls codes. This was significant in that in 2014 the Club celebrated a first ever Boys and Girls Feile National double title success with both teams claiming the Division 2 Feile titles as well as the Division 1 Skill Awards gold by Antoin Fox.
