Loughmacrory players travel to Castlebar for Nationals
Following the hugely successful Ulster One Wall Handball Championships last weekend, in which the club hosted the event and picked up three main titles, four shield wins and one final still to play, a number of Loughmacrory club players will now make the trek this weekend to Castlebar, Mayo, for the All Ireland One Wall Nationals Tournament.
A total of 11 players from the club will compete in various grades over the course of the weekend and following the successes of Antoin Fox, Caitlin Conway and Mairead Fox last weekend in the Ulster Championships, hopes will be high of players again doing well in the National Championship events.
Action gets underway from 1pm on Friday 4th July with finals scheduled on Sunday 6th July.
Loughmacrory club wishes all our players best wishes at this weekend’s highly prestigious One Wall Nationals and also say good luck to the many Tyrone players from our neighbouring clubs, Breacach and Carrickmore, who will be travelling with strong credentials to compete in Castlebar also.
