Loughmacrory Community Fish Festival 2014
Loughmacrory & Murrins District Angling Association (LAMDAA) are pleased to announce an adult/junior day on the 28th and 29th of June as part of our plans to introduce angling to the public, an introduction to angling on both boat, bank at Loughmacrory Lake.
Juniors are welcome and encouraged to bring an Adult/Guardian. For absolute beginners we will have qualified instructors available on both days, so, no excuses! Get the kids down to the lake and give them an experience of a life-time absolutely free!
All juvenile participants will receive a complimentary annual membership to the Loughmacrory Angling Club and free Loughs Agency rod licence for juniors for the season.
Spot prizes will be awarded throughout the two day event and larger prizes will be awarded based on skills and talent shown. Rods/tackle/bait will be provided to those who require them to participate on the day.
Boat angling juniors will be navigated by a member of LAMDAA staff and will be required to be accompanied by an adult/guardian. Boat trips will be on a first come, first served basis and trips will last no longer than an hour if demand is high. Buoyancy aids will be provided to all going on boats and are compulsory were life rings are not available.
Loughmacrory and Murrins District Angling Association would like to acknowledge the support of Loughs Agency in sponsoring this angling event and also the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure.
